This 17 year old has big plans for his future. From Boissevain, Manitoba, he's working on finishing his grade 12, while working part time and also training for some big things coming up. His main sport is Cross Country Skiing and does most of his training in the Turtle mountains.
I started skiing in a back pack on my mom's back before I could walk, and I've been hooked ever since.
Levi claimed first place in the juvenile boys' 10 km race in event in Sovereign Lake, B.C, dashing across the finish line more than a minute ahead of fellow Manitoban and second place finisher Conor McGovern of the Red River Nordic ski club. More than 35 skiers were registered to complete in his class.
Inspired by a skiier named Alexander Legkov, Levi is looking forward to taking his athletic career to the next level. Norway will be Nadlersmith's first time racing out of country. He and one female skier will represent Canada in the Nordic cross-country event in February.
My favourite Gorp bar flavour is Cocoa Hemp and Almond. Gorp bars have helped me in a number of ways by providing me with quality recovery after races, on long training days they have saved me numerous times from bonking, and they are also a tasty snack that you can enjoy any time.
Besides skiing, Levi enjoys crafting wooden canoe paddles, and canoe tripping in northern Ontario. He just started dabbling in climbing. He also really enjoys trail running, cycling, white water canoeing, and sailing.
