Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
Merry Christmas from everyone here at GORP! There's no way I could do this alone, as much as I sometimes try to hold the GORP world in my hands, the reality is that I'd be crushed without my awesome team
Well! 2018 has been quite the year! Lots of changes, many lessons learned, there were belly laughs as well as tears, sometimes both at the same time!
We here at GORP are so blessed to be in business another year! As anyone who's part of a company knows, it's not always easy, but when you know WHY you are in business, it makes it all worthwhile.
As we reflect on our mission statement, we see how we've succeeded and how we've failed, and will enter into 2019 with a resolve to do better in the areas where we need to improve! As the British philosopher Alain de Botton is famous for saying; "Anyone who isn't embarrassed of who they were last year probably isn't learning enough."
What we do know for sure, is that we continue to be thankful for our amazing vendors and customers who invest in our brand year after year! The encouragement and heartfelt feedback that comes our way is why we keep putting one foot in front of the other!
As we enter into 2019 our goal is to improve and deepen relationships and show our customers, vendors and retailers the love that we are feeling for them.
We sincerely hope that you embrace being "in the moment" this Christmas and remember all the reasons you are thankful amidst the hustle and craziness that can sometimes take over this time of year!
