MORE READY MIX TIPS
Whether this is your first time making GORP Ready Mix or you are a pro...here are some pointers to help you mix it up!
TIP #1 - Don't let the liquid ingredients BOIL! It can reduce the volume of liquid and cause the mix to be dry. Just warm it up until pourable!
TIP #2 -If your mix is dry, don't be afraid to add more peanut butter/nut butter until it is soft! Every brand is a little different. We like to use natural peanut butter!
TIP #3 - Pressure is a thing! We heavily recommend *pun intended* using a rolling pin, it's about a 5-8 minute workout! Using a rubber spatula will press it together but won't bind it together, causing it to fall a part later on. You can also roll your mix into golf ball sized energy balls! For this method we suggest turning on your favorite movie...it will take some time but worth it! Two to three golf ball size protein balls equals about 1-65g GORP Bar!
INGREDIENTS
Rolled oats, Almonds, Dark chocolate chips (cocoa liquor, cane sugar, cocoa butter, cocoa powder, tapioca starch), Whole grain brown rice protein concentrate, Rice protein crisps (rice protein concentrate, rice flour), Ground flaxseed, Partially defatted peanut flour, Sunflower seeds, Cocoa powder, Dried coconut, Pea fibre, Cinnamon.

The great creamy flavour from all natural peanut butter combined with the tartness of dried apples...a classic pair! We threw in some almonds for calcium and crunch, and poured in the oats for cardiovascular health and their chewy goodness.

Ginger Snap & Apple is the perfect pairing with your morning coffee or even your afternoon pumpkin spice smoothie! This bar tastes warm, spicy and - while we'd like to say it has a 'hint' of ginger, it has more of a polite punch in the face of ginger and nutmeg awesomeness! Hi-Ya!! *insert ninja punch here* We skipped the almonds for this recipe and opted for their cousin, the melt in your mouth Pecan.
